Abstract:The nonlinear SDRE control technique has garnered widespread attention for its advantages in handling the nonlinear characteristics of spacecraft dynamic systems. By integrating state-dependent parameters, this method can effectively address the system’s complex nonlinearity, exhibiting good robustness and adaptability. This article reviews the progress of SDRE in the aerospace field, particularly emphasizing the potential of the nonlinear SDRE method in enhancing the performance and safety of spacecraft. Initially, the article introduces the basic concepts of the SDRE control method and its controller design and solution methods, based on the classic LQR theory. Subsequently, it provides an overview and summary of the SDRE control issues for spacecraft in various typical scenarios, including the difficulties and challenges faced in implementing SDRE control methods in the aerospace field, a retrospective on applications across various aerospace systems, and successful application scenarios of SDRE in the aerospace domain. In the final part, the article explores how SDRE technology can be combined with other advanced control strategies to address the various challenges encountered by spacecraft during orbital operation and looks forward to more applications of SDRE nonlinear optimization control technology in the aerospace field.
